These artworks are part of my ongoing exploration of the spirit as an element within the natural cycle. In East Asian painting, particularly in the genre of landscape painting (shan shui, 山水画), artists have traditionally regarded mountains and natural forms as sacred, merging their inner spirit with the landscape to create deeply expressive works.

Inspired by this approach, I began developing my own interpretation of landscape painting in 2023. My aim is to connect my artistic vision with the spiritual essence found in nature.

The landscapes I depict are internal ones—mental and emotional terrains—where small islands floating on water represent both the vibrant energy of life and its inherent transience.
